It's a busy day in town. The Esk Street Food Market runs from 11am to 3pm, with the street closed to traffic and up to 20 mobile vendors serving food from around the world.
Right alongside it, Men's Health Day takes over Invercargill Central from 10am to 5pm, with health checks, local support services and a range of speakers from 11am through to 3.30pm. For the full list of speakers, see below. Bring a mate, or bring the whole family along.
Over in Appleby, South Alive's Spring Flower Show fills The Pod on Ness Street with daffodils, cut flowers, prize vegetables and homemade preserves. West Invercargill Health is bringing Men's Health Day to the Invercargill city centre. It's a free community day about men's health and wellbeing, with health information, simple health checks, local support services, activities and a full afternoon of speakers sharing practical advice and lived experience.

11am: Mental health and wellbeing, with Elton from Ngā Kete Mātauranga Pounamu
12.30pm: The importance of medications in long-term conditions, with Rebekah McDonald, Pharmacist
1pm: Looking after your health, with Oscar Kightley
1.30pm: Finding Your Weirdos, with Josh "JK" Moody, SPW Wrestler
2pm: Finding a way through grief, with Sharron and Greg from Macdonald & Weston Funeral Home
2.30pm: Financial wellbeing, with Ngā Kete Mātauranga Pounamu
3pm: Movement and health, with Active Southland

The Esk Street Food Market is back. Esk Street closes to traffic and fills with up to 20 mobile vendors serving food from around the world. Grab a bite, settle into the street dining spaces and taste your way along the street. It runs alongside Men's Health Day at Invercargill Central, with the expo's exhibits and activities spilling out of the mall onto Esk Street. The market is hosted by Great South and Invercargill City Council.
South Alive Spring Flower Show

Spring has sprung, and South Alive is celebrating with a colourful Spring Flower Show at The Pod. There are categories for daffodils, cut flowers, vegetables and homemade preserves and condiments. The kids get their own entries too, with sand saucers and creations made from recycled objects. Bring the family, admire the blooms and stay for prize giving at 3pm.
