The popular Duck Shooters’ Widows Designer Clothing Sale is back again this year - and it’s bigger and better than ever before.
The massive designer new and pre-loved designer clothing sale has doubled in size this year, extending over 2 days to include both this Friday and Saturday of duck shooting weekend.
Coordinator and fashion stylist Mary Witsey said it was a fun event for local ladies at this time of year.
“We love offering this fabulous sale, giving the girls something to look forward to at duck shooting weekend, while the boys were being boys.”
There had been such demand last year that they decided to extend the bargains over 2 days.
“Last year we had ladies coming from Queenstown, Gore , Dunedin and Invercargill.
“We’re always thrilled at the support that we get, but some ladies couldn’t make it on the day and asked if we could extend the sale - so this year we have.
“We’ve also moved to a new venue - the Winton RSA Hall, beside the Winton bakery on the Main Street. This gives us more space and better parking.
“We’ve got some absolutely gorgeous designer fashion available year, with sizes from 8 to 18, including labels like Nom*D, Trelise Cooper, Taylor, Repertoire, Moochi and Nyne.
“We also have a fabulous designer hamper, valued at $130 to be won, with every purchase putting lucky ladies into the draw.”
