LIDDELL, Tau-mai Jane Ann (nee Morrison):
Passed away peacefully at Yvette Williams Retirement Village Dunedin, on Thursday 26th of February 2026, aged 90 years. Much loved mother and mother in-law of Michael, Donald and Clare, and Simon. Much loved Grandmother (Taudy) of Ben & Mei, Zoe, Finn, Gabriel, Eli, Ari and Nathan, and proud new great grandmother of Ernest. He manawa tītī. Haere, haere, haere atu rā e kui Tau-mai. Moe mai rā i ngā ringaringa o ō tātou tūpuna A Celebration of Tau-mai’s life and an Acknowledgement of her siblings Spencer, John, and Rata will be held on Saturday 14th March 2026, 10.30am at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets Invercargill. LOVETT, Gregory Thomas (Greg):
Greg passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital on 3 March 2026. Loved son of the late Neil and Margaret Lovett. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Michael and Pauline (Ingill), Richard and Keiko (Chch), Janine and Amanda (Queenst), Adrian and Eve (Chch). Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. MCDONALD, Aylis Winifred:
Peacefully in the care of Southland Hospital, in her 92nd year. Dearly loved wife of Colin*. Loved Mother of Glen and Faye (Springston), Ewan* (Picton), Cheryl and Lindsay Troon (Waianiwa). Loved Nana Mac of Kylie, Laura and Scott, and her Great Grandchildren Jet and Mason. As Aylis wished, a private cremation has been held with a family memorial planned for a later date. PARK, Bruce Raymond:
Formerly of Greenfield. On March 4, 2026 at Dunedin Hospital; aged 88 years. Dearly beloved husband of Lesley, loved father and father in-law of Robyn and Lloyd, Jeanette and Dave, Gavin and Paula. Much loved grandad of Andrew and Julia, Stephanie, Angela, Tom, Megan and Cameron. Son of Tom* and May* Park, brother of Reg* and his wife Zoe*. Son-in-law of Bill* and Evie* Caldwell, brother-in-law of Bill* and Nola*, Isobel and Bill* Irvine, and Alison and Maurice* Easton. (* denotes deceased) A service to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held on, Tuesday, March 10 at 1.30pm, in Leishman’s Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, followed by private cremation. For those unable to attend, a livestream link will be available on Leishman’s website. Donations to Balclutha St John Ambulance would be appreciated and can be left at Bruce’s service. TAYLOR, Ronald William (Ron):
Passed peacefully at Ascot Care Home on Thursday 5 March 2026, with his family by his side. Dearly loved husband of the late Mary, loved father and father-in-law of Janet and Richard Lean (Owaka), Chrissie and Herman Morsink, Shirley Scobie and the late DJ. Loving Pa to his grandchildren Gregor and Yvette, the late Bradley, Lauren and Brad, Karyn and Sam, Sarah and Vanessa, Rachel and Chris and also to his 13 great grandchildren. TILLER, Louise Marie (née Jennings):
Passed away suddenly on 4 March 2026. Beloved wife of Wally and adored mother of Brittany and Hannah. Cherished daughter of Harold and Jill, and loved sister of Kate and Christopher. Deeply missed by her wider family and many friends. A service to celebrate Louise’s life will be held on Tuesday, 10 March at 1.30 pm at the Edendale Christian Centre, 10 George Street, Edendale, followed by a private interment. STEVENS, Ernest:
July 9, 1928 - February 8, 2026
Gaye and Ernest's families wish to thank friends and neighbours for the lovely flowers, baking, cards and messages. We greatly appreciate the support and kindness given to us on the loss of Ernest. The presence of so many of you at the funeral helped us greatly and was a lovely tribute to Ernest. A special thanks to the staff of Rowena Jackson Village for their care during the past 7 years.
