MASTERS, Philip George (Worzel):
Phil passed away peacefully, with family by his side, after a lengthy battle, at Southland Hospital on Thursday, 19 March 2026, shortly before 9.00 pm. Beloved husband of Linda for 53 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Donna and Anthony, Andrea and partner Robbie. Much loved Grandad of Cody and Amanda, and dearly treasured Great Grandad of Kaia and Rhemi. A longtime friend of the Robertson family (Blackmount). A service for Phil will be held at the Invercargill Crematorium on Tuesday, 24 March at 2.00 pm. O'BRIEN, Mary:
On March 21, 2026, peacefully at Christchurch, aged 71 years. Loved daughter of the late Hal and Grace O'Brien. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Elizabeth and Brad Maere (Invercargill), and loved aunty of Philip and Maxine, and their daughter Scarlet (Whitehorse, Canada), and Mark and Rebecca Fitzgerald (Cohuna, Australia), and a much loved cousin and friend to many. R.I.P.

A funeral mass will be celebrated for Mary at St Teresa's Catholic Church, Puriri Street, Riccarton, Tomorrow (Tuesday) commencing at 3.30pm, private thereafter. Rosary at the Church this evening at 6.30pm.
RICHARDSON, Trevor Wallace:
Trev passed peacefully at his home on 21 March, 2026; in his 62nd year. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Kath, much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Shane, Libby and Shelly, Shbourne and Bevan, Damian and Brenna, Amanda and Leith, and Liane, cherished Grandad of Matthew, Charlotte, Kenzie, Rylee, Izaac, Bayley, and Maia. A loved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a friend to many. At Trev’s request a private cremation will be held. A celebration of Trev’s life will be held in the Gore RSA Function Room, 12 Bowler Ave on Saturday 28 March, at 1.30pm to share memories and tell a few stories.
