Les passed away peacefully in the care of Albany House Rest Home, Gore on Thursday, March 12, 2026; in his 92 nd year. Dearly loved husband of Joan*, loved father and father-in-law of Gordon and Julie (Rolleston), Sharon (Sam) Piercy and Dean Knowles (Cromwell), Ashley* Johnston, Colleen and Martin Dye (NSW), Tony Johnston and Sarah (Gore), and grandfather of Jessica, Katelyn, Melissa, Mitchell, Ben, Shay, Byron, Makayla, Jack, Ruby, Cooper and a special companion of Meryl* Goble. (* denotes deceased) A graveside service will be held to celebrate Les’s life and to reunite him with Joan on Tuesday March 17, at 1.00 pm at Charlton Park Cemetery, Gore. Reunited with her late beloved husband Noel, loved mother and mother-in-law of Robyn and Pete McLeod (Omakau), Judy Kennedy (Brisbane), Wendy and Mike Hamlin (Lincon), cherished Nana of Travis and the late Mary, and the late Logan McLeod, Janna and Dan, Kate and Brent, Scott, Connor, Taylor and Macaulay, friend of Kim and loved great-Nan Nan of Bridie and Jasmine, Grace, and Gemma McLeod, Gus, and Kenzie Nichol, Liam, Riley, and Evie Eaton, Skyla, Charlee, Braxton, and Bowie McLeod. MOYLAN, Murray:
Passed away on March 6, 2025; aged 67 years. Loved son of Arnold* and Pamela* Moylan, brother to Alan, proud father of seven children, grandfather to nine grandchildren, and great-grandfather to three granddaughters, much loved uncle, cousin, and long-time friend to many. Flo's last show run ended unexpectedly while doing what he loved with Sturgeon's Amusements. A service to celebrate Flo's life will be held at Gillions Funeral Services, 407 Hillside Road, Dunedin, at 2.00pm on Tuesday, March 17. Peacefully on March 10, 2026 at Bupa Windsor Park Care Home, surrounded by her loving family; in her 88th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Pat, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Yvonne, Penny and Warrick, and the late Stephen, cherished Nana of Sharnee and Corey, and Nan- Nan of Riley, and Olivia. PAISH, Johanna Mae:
Passed away on the 10th March 2026 at Southland Hospice. Johanna is now at peace after a long battle with cancer. Dearly loved mother of Shane John-Charles Millan*, Desaray Dawn Millan*, Shane Millan, Rowena Natalie Amelia Ashwell & their partners. Johanna adored being Nannie to Cody, Cheyanne, Jesse, Mykah, Alice & Hunter. Johanna is a loved sister of Annette, Eva-Leanne, Nick & Debbie and Aunty to her nieces and nephews and their children too. Johanna has been cremated as she wished. Peacefully on March 12th 2026 at Hawthorndale Care Village, Aged 79. Dearly loved husband of Shona for 59 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Sharon and James Lowe (Blackmount) Geoff and Sharron (Invercargill) Glen and Rach (Winton). Loved Grandfather and Great-grandfather, and a much loved brother and brother-in-law and uncle of all his nieces and nephews and extended family, A Great friend to many.
