Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Southland Hospital on Thursday 25th December 2025, 92 orbits around the sun. Dearly loved wife of the late Max. Treasured and much loved mother and mother in law of Paul, Brendan and Lee, Maxine and Richard, Leanne and Phill, and Lisa and Grant. Much loved and adored Nana of Quintin, Zane and Dali; Stacey, Joella, and Nikita; Paige and Jordan; Grayson and Sophie. Loved Great Nana of Kaila, Lucas, Riley, Quinn and Louella. Loved sister and sister in law of Alma and Tom*, Ray* and Rosalie*, Brian* and Dawn*, and Maureen* and Neville. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. As per Noeleen’s wishes a private cremation has been held. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. 1966-2025. It is with much heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of Phil due to a medical event on 23 December 2025. Much loved “gorgeous guy” and soul mate of Anna and cherished bonus dad of Ruby. Loved father of Kady and Abbey. Beloved son of Irene and Graham and brother of Tania, Russell and Raewyn, dearly loved son-in-law, uncle and cousin. A very special Big Buddy to Abel. A service to celebrate Phil’s life will be held at the Ascot Park Hotel, Invercargill, on Monday December 29, at 11.30am. Private thereafter. MANSON, Mayvis Elizabeth (nee Richardson):
As a result of an accident, in her 91st year. Beloved daughter of the late Charles and Lena Richardson. Much loved and adored wife of the late Douglas Victor. Loved daughter in law of the late Frank and Mavis Scott. Loved and cherished mother and mother in law of Garry and Gloria (Dorset UK), Andrea Dempsey (Invercargill), and Jeff and Jan (Mossburn). Much loved Grandma of Scott and Lucy, Zachary, and Toby and Bobby. Loved Great Gran of Milla, Pippa, and Frankie. Adored sister and sister in law of Gordon* and Joyce*, Allan* and Sandy*, Ray* and Muriel*, Chook* and Zelda*, and Keith and Carol. Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. RANSFIELD, Linda Diane (nee Winitana):
Passed away after a relatively short battle with cancer, on Tuesday 23rd December 2025. Dearly loved soulmate of the late Phillip TeKani. Beloved Mum of Temanawanuimarie (Marie) Pohoiwi (Ohai), Kingi Pohoiwi and partner Jazz (Omakau), Te Wairua (Rotorua), Diane and David Hose (Invercargill), Piripi and Freek Antonisse (Netherlands), Harley-James Wickliffe-Ransfield and partner Britney (Australia). Most bestest loved Nan, NanNan, Aunty, sister of all her siblings, mokopuna, and mokomoko, nieces, nephews and all the late Cloud (Te Kapua) Phillip (mokopuna). Linda will lie at Te Oruanui (Ohai Marae) Ohai, 25 Hastings Street, Ohai from Wednesday 24th December 2025 to Saturday 27th December 2025. Saturday service starts at 10.00am. Then Mum will travel to Wairo Cemetery Nightcaps arriving at 11.00am. All welcome to come and celebrate with us back at Te Oruanui (Ohai Marae) following the interment at Wairio Cemetery. Peacefully at home on Friday, 26 December 2025. Dearly loved wife of the late Brian. Love mother and mother-in-law of Grant* & Lynette, John & Erin, Tony & Vanessa, Kevin & Di, Paul, Michelle & Keiran McCabe, and friend of Delwyn. 19 years later she is still very missed by not only myself but by everyone who knew her. She was the most beautiful, kind and caring woman.
Not a day that goes by where she is forgotten. She has missed a lot of things but I know in spirit that she has been right by my side through every moment. She would have been the most amazing grandmother too her grandbabies and our lives would look completely different to how they are today. I will forever keep her here in our memories. We love you forever and always Mum.
