Eleven players won $24,278 each with Lotto Second Division. One of the winning tickets was bought on the MyLotto app by a player in Invercargill, adding to the excitement in the south.
This follows Wednesday’s Second Division results, where twelve players from around the country each won $16,422. One of those lucky tickets was purchased at Collingwood Foodcentre in Invercargill.
It wasn’t just the Second Division winners enjoying the night. Two players also struck Powerball Second Division, taking home a boosted total of $32,949 each. Those winning tickets were sold at Eastridge Lotto in Auckland and Fresh Choice Geraldine in Geraldine.
Even more significant prizes were handed out in the Lotto First Division. Three players from Kerikeri, Whakatāne and New Plymouth will be celebrating after each winning $333,333. The tickets were sold at Woolworths Kerikeri, Paper Plus Whakatāne, and via MyLotto for the New Plymouth winner.
Powerball was not struck in Saturday’s draw and has rolled over. The jackpot will now climb to a massive $10 million for Wednesday night’s draw, creating even more anticipation among Lotto players.
There was also a major Strike win on Saturday night. A lucky Auckland player won $200,000 with Strike Four. Their ticket was bought through MyLotto.
