A Lotto player from Christchurch is celebrating after winning $200,000 with Strike Four in Wednesday night's live Lotto draw. The winning ticket was sold at Pak N Save Riccarton, giving one lucky local a significant midweek boost.
Meanwhile, Powerball was not struck and has rolled over to Saturday, where the jackpot will climb to $12 million. Lotto First Division will also be up for grabs, with a prize pool of $1 million.
Seventeen Lotto players from around the country also have reason to celebrate after each winning $14,289 with Lotto Second Division on Wednesday night. Among them is an Invercargill player who bought their ticket on the MyLotto app.
Invercargill appears to be on a winning streak, with recent wins across multiple draws. Last Saturday, eleven players won $24,278 each with Lotto Second Division, including one ticket purchased on the MyLotto app by another Invercargill resident.

This followed wins from the previous Wednesday’s Second Division draw, when twelve winners each received $16,422. One of those tickets was bought at Collingwood Foodcentre in Invercargill.
Lotto NZ is reminding players to check their tickets promptly and claim their prizes to avoid missing out.
