It was a night to remember for Lotto players across New Zealand, with 13 lucky winners each taking home $20,492 from Lotto Second Division in Saturday night’s live draw.
Among the winners was a player from Southland, who bought their ticket through the MyLotto App.
In even bigger news, two players from the North Island struck it rich with Lotto First Division, each winning $500,000. One winning ticket was sold at Fresh Choice Ngāruawāhia, and the other at Four Square Paeroa.
Powerball, however, was not struck and has now rolled over. The jackpot for Wednesday night’s draw has climbed to a massive $10 million.
Strike Four has also rolled over and will offer a prize pool of $1 million in the next draw.
Lotto NZ is encouraging anyone who bought their ticket from any of the winning locations to check their tickets as soon as possible. Tickets can be checked in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App.
