A 15-year-old male had already been arrested last week in connection to several of the incidents, including one of the aggravated robberies. He has since appeared in the Invercargill Youth Court and is currently remanded in custody.
In addition to the youth, a 35-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were jointly charged in relation to the second aggravated robbery. Police executed search warrants at properties in Invercargill to make the arrests. Both adults are now remanded in custody awaiting their next court appearance.
Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported during the crime spree.
Police say their investigation is ongoing and are appealing to the public for any further information that may help their enquiries. Inspector Harvey noted that officers are still keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or has relevant footage from the time of the incidents.
