ROAD CLOSURE: SH93 Clinton to Mataura

Westbound traffic: Turn right onto SH1, then travel via Gore and Mataura.
Eastbound traffic: Reverse of the above route via SH1.

Update 10:45am: SH93 is now OPEN. Take extra care and follow the temporary speed limit in place

Old Coach Road, between Kaiwera Downs Road and Isla Road, is closed following a two-vehicle crash this morning.

The crash, involving a car and a truck and trailer unit, was reported to emergency services at around 6am.

Police are currently in attendance and diversions are in place.

Three people are reported to have sustained injuries.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays while the scene is managed.
