The combined Invercargill Rotary Clubs are holding their "Family Halloween Party" at the Stumpery in Queens Park on Saturday October 31, from 3pm to 6pm.

The free community event is open to children and families. Games on the day include a treasure hunt, roll the skulls, art and paint, a corn bag slide, what's in the box, a sensory trail and balloon popping. There will also be a free BBQ.

The event has run for several years at the same Queens Park location. More than 800 people attended the last outing in 2024. It did not run in 2025 after Queens Park was damaged by severe windstorms.

This year Halloween falls on a weekend, so the event has been scheduled as an afternoon session.

The Stumpery is accessible via Gala Street or Queens Drive. Parking is available on Gala Street and in Queens Park parking areas.
