Detours:
For light vehicles, the detour directs northbound traffic left onto Homestead Road, continuing along Hilda Road before turning left back onto SH1. Southbound traffic should follow this route in reverse.

Heavy vehicles must take a different route. Northbound traffic should turn right onto Salford Street, then right onto Ferry Road, continuing along Edendale-Wyndham Road. They should then turn left onto Coal Pit Road before rejoining SH1. The detour is reversed for southbound traffic.

Drivers are urged to follow signage and allow extra time for their journeys.
