Southern Field Days is back at Waimumu from 11–13 February 2026, bringing three days of innovation, competition, machinery, rural pride and classic crowd favourites. From the ever-popular Tractor Pull and Speed Shear to national-level fencing competitions, mud buggy demonstrations and National Lamb Day celebrations, there’s something happening across the site each day. Throughout the Day (Thursday Only) Southern Trailblazers Club & Clutha 4WD Club Mud Buggy Demonstrations run over 6 courses, 4 times during the day.

🔎 Exhibitors Search for exhibitors on the official Southern Field Days website before you arrive to help plan your visit.
🅿️ Parking Information They have shared parking areas for both exhibitors and spectators — there is no separate parking for each group.
Designated mobility parking is available on site. Please follow signage and the instructions of our parking team.

All parking is managed by volunteer groups, so please be respectful and follow their directions — they’re there to help keep everyone safe and moving.

🚧 Road Closures A section of the road will be closed daily from 7am – 7pm during Southern Field Days.

Access to Gates 1, 2, 3 and 4
🔁 Through Traffic If you’re travelling through the area, alternative routes are available via Mataura or Upper Charlton.
