Of Alexandra, formerly of Five Rivers. Passed peacefully at Ranui Home and Hospital, Alexandra, on July 14, 2025; aged 80. Dearly loved husband of Bernie, and the late Elizabeth, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Nathan and Trudy, Stacey and Tricia, and Kelly and Martin, loved Mikey of Mileena and Aaria.Grandad to Honor, Imogen and Ollie. Loved Michael to Monique and Kelvin, Sharlayne and Graeme, Brendan and Gaylene, Louise and Jason, and their extended family. Loved brother and uncle. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Michael in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3 Killarney Street, Alexandra, at 10.00am on Saturday, July 19, followed by interment in the Lumsden Cemetery at 3.30pm. HAWKES, Joy:
Passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, in her 93rd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Neil, dearest Mum of Raewyn and Muzza, adored Grandma of Alex and Marisa; and Leah and James, and Great-Grandma of Iris. Special thanks to the caring staff at Ranui Rest Home. A service for Joy will be held in The Cellar Door, 143A Centennial Avenue, Alexandra, at 12 noon on Friday, July 18, followed by burial in Alexandra Cemetery. LIVINGSTONE, Ivan George:
Passed away peacefully at Rose Lodge on Thursday 10th July 2025, aged 72 years. Loved son of the late George and Edna Livingstone. Loved brother and brother in law of Geoff*, Helen and David Reid, and Pauline and Geoff Evans. Loved Uncle of his nieces and nephews. Family sincerely thank the staff of Waikiwi Gardens and Rose Lodge for their dedication and care of Ivan. As per Ivan’s wishes, a private service has been held.
