Passed at Bupa Longwood Care Home, Riverton on Friday 18th July 2025. Aged 95. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Catherine. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of David and Gaye, Janette and Tony Carmichael, Russell and Diane, Blair and Leeanne, Kaye and John Adamson. Adored Grandad Alex of his 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. JOPSON, Garry:
Unexpectedly, on July 11, 2025; aged 65. McQUEEN, Paul:
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Christopher McQueen, a loving husband, devoted father, cherished son, brother, and friend. Paul peacefully departed this world on June 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Salma McQueen, and their son, Shaquille. Paul was a proud and affectionate father, a supportive and caring husband, and a constant source of strength and laughter to all who were fortunate to know him. As a treasured son and a loyal brother, Paul nurtured every relationship with warmth and kindness. His genuine and generous friendship left lasting impressions on many, especially his lifelong friend Chris, along with countless others whose lives he touched. The McQueen family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Hospice for their compassion and care during Paul's final days. In accordance with his wishes, a private cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Paul's life will be held on July 26, at 22 Lindisfarne Street, Invercargill, commencing at 2.00pm. All who knew and loved Paul are warmly invited to come together to honour the joy, humour, and love he brought into our lives. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Redroofs Rest Home, Dunedin; in her 95th Year. Dearly loved wife of the late Arthur Miles, and daughter of the late Clarence and Jessie Hardy. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Barry* and Bay*, Nelson and Lori, Judith and Frank, and Alan*. Cherished grandmother of her eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A special thanks to the staff at Redroofs for their care of Edna over the past ten months. A service to celebrate Edna's life will be held at Mornington Presbyterian Church, 16 Maryhill Terrace, Maryhill, Dunedin on Wednesday, July 23, at 11.00am. SEARLE, Jamie:

The Searle family wishes to thank all those that remembered Jamie on his passing, particularly those who supported him in his final weeks and who attended the graveside service.
