Cyril passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Gore Hospital on Tuesday August 19, 2025; aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Margaret*, loved father and father-in-law of Pam and Gary (Gore); Helen*; Andrew and Debbie (Cromwell); David and Helen (Ferndale); Bruce (Gore); and Jono and Amy (Harwood); cherished Grandad of Michelle and Adam (Arrowtown), and Louise and Ezra (Lake Hawea); Laura and Matt (Palmerston North); Kelsey (Whanganui), Maegan (Ferndale), and Devin (Dunedin); great Grandad of Hunter, Beauden, and Zara (Arrowtown); Finley, and Mabel (Lake Hawea). Son of Jim* and Agnes*, loved brother and brother-in-law of Jim and Dorothy (Gore); Dorothy* and Alan* Crump (Wyndham); Henry and Audrey (Ferndale), brother-in-law of John* Shankland (Mataura), and Matt Shankland and Rachel Watson (Christchurch), loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. REID, Vivienne (Viv):
Unexpectedly left us on the 18 August 2025.Dearly loved wife of Bruce Reid for 51 years. Cherished Mother and Mother-in-law of Lisa and Dougall Henderson, Keri and Simon Kairau, Cheryl and Justin Cribb, and Cathy and Glen Puna. Devoted Nana of Tia, Ella, Erina, Ben, Louise, Mya, Jarred, Josh, Andre, and Eli. Proud GG of Cruz and Finlay. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Andy and Trish Pine, Jim and Norma Pine, Adrian (Dec) and Linda Pine, and Elaine and Ken Hurley. Loved Aunty and friend to many.

A Rosary will be recited at 6.00pm on Friday 22nd August at St Patrick’s Church. SMITH, Pamela Florence (Pam) (nee Silcock) (of Wyndham):
Peacefully at Gore Hospital, surrounded by her children, on Thursday, August 21, 2025, aged 84 years. Loved wife and soulmate of the late Bill, dearly loved Mum and mother-in-law of Alec and Debbie (Glenham), Darryl (Rangiora), Paul and Moneen (Mauritius), Mark (Wyndham), Rochelle and Martyn Smith-Haines (Otautau); and devoted Grandma of her 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Jennifer and Ray Wiese (Marlborough Sounds), and loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Pam will be held at the Wyndham Presbyterian Church, Balaclava Street, Wyndham on Friday, August 29 at 1.30pm, followed by the interment at Wyndham Cemetery.
