Passed away peacefully at Vickery Court, aged 97 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter Brown. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Susan and Gary* Moffatt, Gaye and Jeff Martyn, Lex and Raewyn Brown, Rosalie and Ian Campbell, and Raewyn and Geoff Butt. Loved Nana of Blair*, Sarah, Louise, Melissa, Linda*, Nichola, Michael, Nicola and Kieran. Loved Great-Nana of Charlie, Riley, Emily and Taylem. Crissie was a lovely sister, sister-in-law and Aunty. Family sincerely thank the staff of Vickery Court for their care and compassion of Crissie for the past 5 years. A private service to celebrate Crissie's life has been held. ELLIS, Stewart:
3.9.1946 - 28.8.2025
Aged 78 years, passed peacefully at Lonsdale Care Home, Foxton. Loved dad to Barbara, Robyn, Rodney, Toni and Ricky. Grandad and Great-grandad to many. Freezing worker, Lighthouse keeper, Fisherman, storyteller, and occasional troublemaker. In respect of dad's wishes, a final road trip to Orepuki Cemetery in Southland for a private burial, with a view of the sea.
