Peacefully on Thursday 11th September 2025 at Hospice Southland, with Sharon by his side. Dearly loved Partner and best friend of Sharon. Loved father and father-in-law of Kerry and Donna, Craig, the late Stephen, Jolene, Blair and Sonya. Loved Pop of Dylan, Alexis, Chevy, Levi, Siobhan, Niamh, and Jacob. A service to celebrate Murray’s life will be held at the Southland Crematorium on Wednesday 17th September 2025 at 1pm. Murray was the steadfast protector and the strength of his family - a guiding hand, a steady presence, and a source of quiet courage. His love, wisdom, and support shaped the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but forever remembered with love and gratitude. Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Monday, 8 September 2025, aged 88 years. With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Erin at Hospice Southland on 11 September 2025 aged 78 years. Dearly loved wife of Michael, much loved Mum and Mother-in-law of Rodney and Vanessa King, Glen and Lynette King, Paula and Daryl Browne. Adored and Loved Nana of her 6 grandchildren and Auntie of her many nieces and nephews. Cherished daughter of *Keith and *Alma Butler and loved sister of *John,*Murray,*Carol, Kevin, Kathy, Margaret, Peter, Daniel, *David, *Mary, Julie, *Gerard and Michael. A service to celebrate Erin's life will be held in J Fraser and Sons' chapel cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Tuesday 16 September 2025 at 1:30pm followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and can be made at the service. Tony, Tracey, Karen, Lyn, Phil, Chris and families would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone for the love and support shown to our family during the difficult time of losing our much-loved Dad, Grandad and Great grandad. To the staff of St John Ambulance, The ED team and the amazing nurses and doctors in the medical ward of Southland Hospital thank you for your love, care and compassion shown to Dad and our family.
