HONEYWILL, Roderick Leslie Ross:
Passed away peacefully, with Gail by his side, at Clare House Rest Home, on Tuesday 24 June 2025; aged 84 years. Beloved husband of Gail for 41 years; and the late Inez-Mary. Dearly loved father, stepfather and father-in-law of Clare and Blair Keelty, Philip and Stacey, and the late Veronica Bennett; Deborah and Craig Connor, and Leigh and Greg Turnhout. Much loved grandad of Kenji and Takeshi Suzuki, Evie Connor, Ethan and Lily Turnhout, and his English grandchildren; Mikaela Davidson, and Sam and Neve Bennett. Special thanks to the management and staff at Vickery Court and Johnstone Wing at Clare House, for their loving care of Rod. Grateful thanks to Dawn Acker. JEFCOATE, Pearl Margaret:
Peacefully with family at her side, at Hawthorndale Village, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Jefcoate. Loved and treasured Mum and mother-in-law of Valerie and John Borger, Neil and Yvonne, Colin and Judy, Allan and Linda, Lynette and the late Murray Livingstone. Loved grandma to her 12 grandchildren, loved wee grandma of her 28 great grandchildren. A very special wee grandma to her great great grandson. The Jefcoate Family would like to thank the staff at Hawthorndale Care Village for the love and care they have shown Pearl. A service to celebrate Pearl’s life will be held in the Windsor Community Church, on Monday 30th June 2025 at 1pm, followed by a private cremation. Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital on Sunday, 22 June 2025, aged 94 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Oxana, and the late John. Much loved Grandad of Natasha, and Aaron. Peacefully, after a courageous battle, on Sunday 15 June 2025, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of Betty, for a wonderful 64 years. A loved brother to family in both New Zealand and Scotland. After a courageous battle, surrounded by his loving family at Peacehaven Iona Wing, Paddy took his fishing rod and headed off into the sunset - forever fishing. Loved son of the late James and Freda McKInlay* Loved father of Raquel Taylor, Tracey and James Dawson, Maggie and Joe Simmonds Loved Grandad Mel of Jasmine, Phoenix and Georgia. Brother and brother-in-law to June* Evenlyn* and Ted Hill*, Kenneth and Alexi McKinlay. and Noel* Respected and loved Uncle and great uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A friend to many.
