Unexpectedly on the 3rd of September 2025. Aged 84. Much loved wife of the late Lindsay. Loved mother and mother -in-law of Sharon and the late Arthur (Lewis), Owen and Wendy, Lyndon and Bridgette, Christine and Wayne Boot. Cherished Nanna/Grandma and Grand nan of her grandchildren, great grand children and great great grand children. A service to celebrate Frances life will be held at 1pm, 8th September, at the Winton Presbyterian Church, Meldrum Street, Winton. Followed by interment at the East Winton Cemetery. BROWN, Alan Spencer:
Peacefully at Rose Lodge on Monday, 1st September 2025, aged 77 Years. Beloved son of the late Phylis and the late Tom Brown. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Tina Brown, Paul Brown, Warwick, and Alice Brown. As to Alan’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place. Phyllis died peacefully at Invercargill, on the 1st September 2025, aged 100 years. Dearly loved and loving wife of the late Max. Much loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Coreen and Lindsay Halder (Crookston), Beryl and Murray Black (Invercargill), and Grant and Jenny (Lincoln). Much loved and special Grandma of Jonathan and Donna Halder, Maxine Johnstone, Justine and Brett Gerrard, Louise and Jeff Haig; Ruth and James Watson-Black, Catherine and Andrew McGregor, Georgina and Gareth Wishart, and a loved Great Grandma of her 23 Great Grandchildren.
