Passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday 5th August 2025 aged 76.  Much loved husband of Carolynn and adored father and father in law of Neeka and Kegan, Step Dad and good mate of Justine, Clint and Bridget, and Regan. Loved son of Frank* & Irene* Aicken. Cherished brother of Marjorie, Valerie, Lance, Kenneth*, Gary, Chris*, and Jennifer and special friend to his many cousins. Devoted mate of his fur baby Leaf.
Phil was an ideas man, always with a plan drawn up and looking for ways to help others. He will be sadly missed

BUTEL, Colleen Ada (Formerly Moulin, nee Lee):
It is with heavy hearts we advise that Colleen passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital, on Thursday, July 31, 2025, aged 75 years. Dearly loved wife of Denis* Moulin, and Peter Butel, loved mother of Paul (Invercargill), and Daniel (Australia), and loved nana of Jordan (Invercargill). Loved daughter of Bernard* and Ivy* Lee (Christchurch), and loved sister of Leslie*, Ian, and Linda. Loved sister-in-law of John (J.B.) * and Val* Munro (formerly Mosgiel), Brian and Bernadette* Butel, and Norah (Auckland), Ivan and Rena Butel (Gore), Betty and Ross Grenfell (Picton), and Pam and John* Boek (Gore). On July 21, 2025; aged 78 years. Suddenly in Italy on the trip of a lifetime. Dearly loved wife of the late Bruce, Mum of Shane Campbell, Rachel and Paul (Bag) Henry, Nana of Harry, Rowan, and Leon Campbell; Kieran and Kateleen, and Jak Henry and Great-Nana Beth of Freyja and Miles Henry. Daphne died peacefully on August 1, 2025, at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital in Dunedin, aged 76. Formerly from Invercargill. A much loved sister and sister-in-law of Diane and Brian Miller, a loved aunty of Lisa Boyes and Mike Price, and of Kristin Boyes, and great-aunt to Layla Price, Cuba, Reve and Ike Blair. Peacefully at Southland Hospice on Wednesday 6th August 2025 aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of Reg of almost 60 years. RYAN, Vicki Jane (nee Rees):
Passed away peacefully in the care of Peacehaven Village on Monday 4th August 2025. Dearly loved wife of Duncan. Loved sister and sister in law of Murray and Carol, Adrian and Mary, and Willy. Loved daughter of the late Edgar and Noelene Rees. Sincere appreciation and gratitude for the dedicated care of Vicki to Julie and staff of Peacehaven Village. TAYLOR, Alison:
Tragically died as a result of an accident in Zambia July 3, 2025, aged 67 years. Dearly loved daughter of the late Alex and Dorothy Taylor (Frankton), loved sister and sister in-law of Bill and Jill (Queenstown), David and Katrina (Auckland), beloved Aunt and Great-Aunt. Ross, Deb and Megan, and families, wish to express our deep gratitude for the support and kindness shown during our time of loss. The visits, prayers, cards, flowers, food, and attendance at her funeral were a great comfort. The outpouring of love was a true testament to the life she lived and the lives that she touched.
