Passed peacefully with family by her side at Hospice Southland on Friday 11 th April 2025. Dearly loved wife of Merv. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Dion and Janine, Julie and Mark, Nathan and Melanie. Much loved and treasured Nana of Ben and Katie; Bailey and Dylan. Special thanks to Southland Hospital, District Nurses, Hospice Southland and St John Ambulance. As per Gaynor’s wishes a private service has been held. HARRIS, Patricia Ellen (Pat):
Passed away on 16th April surrounded by her loving family, tragically as the result of an accident at Hokonui on 4 April 2025. Loved and adored wife of Len and much loved and cherished Mum of Judith (Otautau), Tina (Christchurch), Bruce and Sally (Western Australia), Jacqui and Mark (Hokitika). Precious Nana of Harley, Daniel, Doyle, Riain, Josh, Nick and their partners. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Fay* and Jim* Gill (Jack O’Connor*), Bill* and Jan Reidy. Syd* and Shirley, Bob* and Shirley*, Mervyn and Mary*, Sylvie* and Colin* (Wallace Dowler*), and all her nieces and nephews. Family would like to sincerely thank all emergency services and staff at Southland Hospital and others, too numerous to mention.

Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital on Tuesday 15th April 2025, in her 97th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Clive Shaw. Much loved Nana of Bruce, Robert and Karen; Nicola and Haupai, and Emma; Glenn and Claire and Lauren and Mana. Loved Nana Norma of Harlan, Imani, Rico, Allie, Cruz, Lucy and Phoebe. Loved sister and sister in law of Shirley* and Mac* McDougall, Alan* and Winnie* Welsford, Betty and Stan* Smith, and Bruce and Julie Welsford. Much loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews.
