BROWN, Murray Graham (Brownie):
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday 24th June 2025. Much loved and best mate of Marilyn. Treasured father and father in law of Craig and Kate, Shelley and Matt, and a treasured Muzz of Hayley and Chris and Courtney and Bram. Cheeky and fun Grandad Murray of Isaac, Boston, and Hope; Ella, Daniel and Luke; and Gracie. Loved brother and brother in law of Bevan and Carol, Suzanne, Phillipa and David, Malcolm and Faye, Greg and Vicky, Julie and Roger, and Neroli. Loved and respected uncle of the Brown and Hunter families. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be greatly appreciated and can be left at Murray’s service. Family sincerely thank the Oncology District Nurses, especially Chrisy, for their compassion and care of Murray. A Celebration of Murray’s life will be held on Saturday 28th June, 11am at Ascot Park Racecourse. 9.4.1929 – 21.6.2025
In accordance with his dreams and wishes, Stewart died peacefully at home in Colac Bay on Saturday 21 June 2025. Loved and cherished husband of Thelma Margaret Dawson*. Dad of Edwina (Christchurch), Reg and Dianne (Wyndham), Lindsay and Wendy (Kaiwera), Margaret and Michael (Otautau), Joe and Nancee (Riverton), Gerard and Sharilyn (Gummies Bush). A much loved Grandad and Pop of 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Loved and respected bush mate, Life member of NZ Axemen Association and Orepuki Bowls Club. A staunch and loyal supporter of Colac Bay its people and community. A service for Dad will be held in the Colac Bay Hall, Colac Bay on Thursday 26 June at 1.30pm. Private cremation will follow. Peacefully with family at her side, at Hawthorndale Village, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Jefcoate. Loved and treasured Mum and mother-in-law of Valerie and John Borger, Neil and Yvonne, Colin and Judy, Allan and Linda, Lynette and the late Murray Livingstone. Loved grandma to her 12 grandchildren, loved wee grandma of her 28 great grandchildren. A very special wee grandma to her great great grandson. A service to celebrate Pearl’s life will be held in the Windsor Community Church, on Monday 30th June 2025 at 1pm, followed by a private cremation.
