CRACKNELL, Barry:
Peacefully passed away at Clare House, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday 12th July 2025, aged 81 years. Dearly loved and adored husband of Pam for 56 years. Loved father and father in law of Karen and Lloyd, Nicky and Deon, and Duane and Selina. Treasured Grandad of Braydan and Annie, Kya, Jordan, Quade, Cole, Eli, Kadin and Max. Loved brother and brother in law of Jan and Richard, Rex and Sue. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated and can be left at Barry’s service. Family sincerely thank the staff of Johnson Wing for their care and support of Barry. A Farewell to celebrate the life of Barry will be held on Friday 18th July 2025, 1.30pm in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. SHERRIFF, Sharleen nee Wilson:
Passed away peacefully at home with her kids and her cats on Saturday July 12. Loved wife of Chris, and mother to Leah, Caleb and Branden. Loved daughter of Bill and the late Pam Wilson (of Gore), Sister/Sister in law to Terry and Jenni (Dunedin) and treasured Aunty to Liam and Lukas. Sharleen touched many as a friend and mother and she brought us all together. Service to be held on Friday 18th July, at the Salvation Army Hall, 29 Victoria Ave, Invercargill, commencing at 12.30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Furever Homes. “Everyone is welcome and if anyone wants to speak, go right ahead and make it brief – "we all know I was great but don’t dick about up there all day, I have an appointment with a hole in the ground” - Sharleen
