COOPER, June:
June Cooper (nee McQueen) passed peacefully at Peacehaven Rest Home on Sunday 20th April 2025, aged 81 years. Dearly loved wife of Colin Cooper and much loved mum of Jan, Wendy, and mother-in-law of Steven. Loved and cherished nana of Connor, Charis, and Zane. Loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate June’s life will be held at St Stephens Church, 284 North Road, Waikiwi, Invercargill at 1.00pm on Wednesday 23 rd April 2025. Passed away peacefully on her 90th Birthday, at Gore. Dearly loved wife of the late Gordon, loved Mum and Mother-in-law of Eric and Raewyn; Tony and Lyn; and Mandy. Cherished Nan of Owen, Warren, Nathan and partners; Katrina, Shae, Cole, Beau and partners; Casey, Travis, Kim, Ashlee and partners, and dearly loved Super Nan of her 19 great grandchildren. Special thanks to Sue Grant for her personal care and Home Help, also thankyou to everyone who enabled me to stay at home. Huge thanks to my Granddaughter Ashlee “My Go to Girl” who got my groceries, drove me to appointments etc. Always with a smile on her face. Also, my family that popped in regularly for a cuppa and chat and enjoyed my biscuit cupboard.
