Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters at Clare House on Sunday 7th September 2025, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Paul. Much loved mother and mother in law of Susan and Ross, Karen and Laurie, and Jane and Gary. Loved Nana of Fraser and Samantha, Duncan and Ali, Rachel and Kerwin, Tyler and Lisa. Loved Great Grandma of Charlotte, Georgina, Zoe and Jack. Family sincerely thank the staff of Clare House and Hospice Southland for their compassion and care of Noeleen. Peacefully at Hawthondale Care Village on Monday 8th September 2025, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter Ericson, and much loved mother and mother in law of Neill and Valerie (Australia), Moray and Pam (Ireland) and Jan and Damian Burns (Invercargill). SHAND, Lesley Fay (née Hughes):
Passed away on Thursday, 4th September 2025, in the care of Dunedin Hospital. Dearly loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Lesley is survived by her loving husband John Peter Shand; her children, Natalie, Jeanine, John, and Ingrid; grandchildren, Tim, Michael, Beky, Kelly, Jessica, and Stacy, and great grandchildren, Elijah, James, and Ivy. A funeral service to celebrate Lesley’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Friday, September 12, at 2.00pm.
