Passed away at Southland Hospital on Monday, April 14, 2025. Dearly loved wife of Peter. Precious Mother and Mother-in-law of Mark and Susan, Jamie and Nicola, John and Sarah, Nick and Justine. Loving and proud Gran of Matt and Sam, Ryan and Sarah, Jacob and Tash, George and Kelly, Sam and Jade, Kate, Caleb, Ella and Zayden and *Craig and a very special Great-Gran.
Loving sister of Bob and Sue Holloway, Barbara and Mike Farrier, *Bill and Diana Holloway, *Russell and *Wendy Holloway. A service will be held at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 84 Great North Road, Winton on Thursday 17 April at 2pm, followed by burial at East Winton Cemetery. LOW, Joy Beatrice (nee Oliver):
Of Invercargill. 24 October 1925 - 11 April 2025
Joy passed away peacefully on Friday 11 April halfway through her 100th Year. Dearly loved Wife of Gordon* for 50 years. Loved Mother and Mother in law to Carol* and David, Neville and Caryl*. Loving and proud Grandma of Joanne, Karyn, Emma, Luana* and Cherifah. A very special Great-Grandma to Breya, Thomas, Noah, Eli and Avery. Joy was grateful for the life she led especially being able to remain in her own home until recent times. Many thanks to the Caregivers from RDNS, the kind and caring staff at Rowena Jackson, and Joy's friends Judith, Jill, Dot and Ngaire for their care of Joy. A celebration of Joy's life will be held at J Fraser and Son's, Corner of Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Wednesday 23 April 2025 at 10am. McDOUGALL, Carole Marie (née Johnstone):
Peacefully passed away on April 14, 2025, at Clare House, Invercargill. Dearly loved wife of Peter for 36 years. Treasured mum of Sacha, Lorissa, Caitlin, Cameron and mother-in-law of Sheridan. Adored Nana of Gus (4) and Baxter (1).
Carole will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
A celebration of Carole’s life will be held at the Southland Crematorium, Invercargill, at 10.00 am on Saturday, April 19.
