9.4.1929 – 21.6.2025
In accordance with his dreams and wishes, Stewart died peacefully at home in Colac Bay on Saturday 21 June 2025. Loved and cherished husband of Thelma Margaret Dawson*. Dad of Edwina (Christchurch), Reg and Dianne (Wyndham), Lindsay and Wendy (Kaiwera), Margaret and Michael (Otautau), Joe and Nancee (Riverton), Gerard and Sharilyn (Gummies Bush). A much loved Grandad and Pop of 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Loved and respected bush mate, Life member of NZ Axemen Association and Orepuki Bowls Club. A staunch and loyal supporter of Colac Bay its people and community. A service for Dad will be held in the Colac Bay Hall, Colac Bay on Thursday 26 June at 1.30pm. Private cremation will follow. District nurse Kathryn and her team and Dr Bill Groves and his Medical Centre team at Riverton. Suddenly but peacefully on Friday 20th June 2025, in her 93rd Year. Beloved wife of the late John. Loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Stephen and Rachael, Cynthia and Chris Bell, Alison and Richard Graves. Loved Grandma of Vanessa, Rebecca and Boyd, Nicola and Mark. Loved Grandma Goodie of Emma, Mary-ann, Madeleine, Samuel, and Mackenzie. A loved sister-in-law and auntie.

MADDEN, Judith Ann:
Peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday 23rd June 2025 at Rowena Jackson. Aged 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Cliff Madden. Loved Mum & Mother-in-law of Gary and the late Somporn, Neil and Shellee, Darryl and Donna, Lisa and Alan Jones. Loved Grandmother of the late Joshua, Benjamin & Tessa, Chloe, Dylan and Amy, Angus, Jed, Hunter, Ciaran. Loved daughter of the late Thelma. Loved sister of Ngaire, Des and Olwyn. Passed away peacefully in the loving care at Hospice Southland on Thursday 19 June 2025 aged 88 years. Loved soulmate of the late Alan. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Grant, Sandra and Fraser McKenzie. A much loved Grandma and Great-Grandmother to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Ngarie Barugh. Dearly loved favourite aunt to all her nephews and nieces.
