STRATFORD, Murray Philip:
It is with great sadness, yet relief that we announce Murray's passing at Peacehaven Dementia Unit on Sunday 6th July 2025. Much loved husband of June and dearly loved father and father-in-law of Sheryl and Richard, Nathan and Kate, Nick and Daniella. Adored Grandad of Matthew, Tim, Amelia, Noah, Zoe, Kate and Sarah. Special heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Peacehaven. An interment and committal service for Murray will be held at 10.30am on Friday 11th July at the Waikawa Cemetery, 439 Niagara Waikawa Road, followed by a thanksgiving service to celebrate Murray's life in the Waiau room at the Ascot Park Hotel, Invercargill at 2pm. WALKER, Colin Alexander (Cole):
Peacefully at home in his loving wife’s arms, on Tuesday 8th July 2025; aged 56 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Sandra (Sandy). Much loved father of Alex, Andrew, and Max, and stepfather of Sam. Loved son of Margaret and Sandy, and brother of Scott. Loved grandfather of Toby, and Ryan, and a loved uncle of Beth. A celebration of Cole’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Friday 11th July at 1:00pm, followed by a private cremation.
