BRYANT, Helen (nee Kerse):
Passed away peacefully, in the amazing care of the staff at Gore Hospital, on June 18, 2026. Aged 99 years. Beloved wife of the late Ernie. Loved Mum and mother-in-law of Jean*, Kate and Tas Dawson, Jim and Glenda Bryant, and Marg Bryant. Loved Gran of Karla, Paul, Steve, Alana, Leeson. Much loved great-Gran of Riley, Lexi, Oakley, Eilidh, Raegan, Flynn, Carys, Addison and Hadlee. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Charlie* and Jeanette* Kerse, Ann* Kerse, Bill* and Betty* Kerse, Elizabeth* Kerse, Margaret and Clarence* Gardyne. Loved Aunty of all her nephews and nieces. EADE, Thomas Francis (Tommy):
Peacefully passed away after a brief unexpected illness on Tuesday 16th June 2026, in his 84th year. Cherished loving husband of Betty, precious father and father in law of Maria, and Geordie and Frances. Treasured Pop of Martha, Georgia and Louis, and respected friend of Michael. Family wish to extend our grateful thanks to St John Ambulance Service, Southland Hospital Emergency Department, Otago Southland Rescue Helicopter Trust, Ward 7B at Dunedin Hospital and Hospice Southland for their compassionate care of our dear Tommy. Donations to Hospice Southland would be greatly appreciated and can be left at Tommy’s service. A service for Tommy will be held on Monday 22nd June 2026, 1.30pm in the Riverton RSA, 141 Palmerston Street, Riverton.  Private interment at Riverton Cemetery will follow. Peacefully on Saturday, 6 June, 2026. Aged 84. Dearly loved husband of the late Jenny. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Christine and Murray Davidson, Grant and Sonja, and the late Ricki. Dearly loved Grampa of James and Rhiannon, Will; and Emma, and Great-Grampa of Teddy, and Isabella. Dearly loved brother of Beverly (dec), Lynette and Sandy, and Heather. A graveside service for Merv has been held on Friday, 12 June, at the Edendale Cemetery, and a memorial service was held at the Te Anau Club, Pop Andrew Drive Te Anau, on Saturday, 13 June.
