BLANCH, Jewel:
Peacefully at Ranui Care Home, Alexandra, on Monday, July 6, 2026, aged 87 years.  Sadly missed and dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Deslie, Evan and Judith, Owen and Margaret, and the late Gayle. Jewel will now be very contented to be with her seeing eye dog Sieger who has waited many years to be her guide dog again, but then there will be many dogs, chooks, and a pony waiting in the shadows to rush up to Jewel to show their love. Peacefully in the comfort of his own home, with his loving family at his side on Sunday, July 5, 2026, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Wendy for 57 wonderful years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Joanne and Chris Dowling-Smith, Rochelle and Brian Falconer, Stephanie and Craig Argyle, treasured Grandad of Alex, Dion, Lochy, and Hannah. Much loved brother, brother-in-law, Uncle and great-Uncle, who will be sadly missed by all his extended family. "Forever Loved and Always Remembered" A Requiem Mass for Peter will be celebrated in The Church Of The Blessed Sacrament, Ardwick Street, Gore on Monday, July 13, at 1pm followed by a private cremation. Family warmly invite you to join them at the RSA, 12 Bowler Avenue, Gore for light refreshments. Wendy and the girls sincerely thank Hospice Southland nurses, especially Amelia, and Helen; and the many district nurses, particularly Fran, and Rachel for their compassionate care, kindness and support during Peter's final days. In the care of Cargill Rest Home, Invercargill on Thursday 25 June 2026; aged 93 years. Dearly loved Wife of the late Ean Young, and Ian Paterson. Much loved Mother of Chris, Alan, and Catherine. Loved Nana of Robert, Shane, and Ean; Jaimee, Flynn, and Ruby. Loved Great Nana of Claire, Alex, Breanna, Hunter, Ava, and Tahlia. A memorial service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Lounge, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Friday 24 July at 11.00am. Special thanks to the staff at Cargill Rest Home for the love and the care shown to Joyce over the past years.

CRAIG, Ross Sinclair:
Passed peacefully at home on 2 July 2026, in his 75th year.   Dearly loved husband of Brenda.  Loved father of Andrew, Cameron, and Hamish, and father-in-law of Christina. Grandad Ross to Hugh, Lucy, Imogen, and Heath. Eldest son of Brian* and Margaret*, and brother of Rachel and the late Bryce*.
