After a long battle Allan fought to the end. Passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, 23 September 2026; aged 70 years. Soulmate of Sandra (hun). Cherished father and father-in-law of Keri and Allan, Antoni and Courtney, and Amber and Mark. Cherished grandad of Ante, Jade, Zack, Jacob, Mikayla, Macy, Pippa and Noah, and Great-grandad of Alby. The family would like to say thank you to the staff at Hospice Southland, Otautau Medical Centre and Winton Pharmacy. A service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held at the Ascot Park Hotel, Invercargill, on Monday, 28 September at 1.00pm, followed by a convoy to Otautau Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland in Allan’s memory would be deeply appreciated. A donation box will be present at Allan’s service. Messages may be left on Allan’s tribute page at distinctfunerals.co.nz where a link to the livestream can also be found.
