CUMMING, Erica Marie:
Taken too soon on 20 May 2026, aged 62 years. Beloved daughter of Mary and Ernie. Dearly loved partner of Gregor. Adored sister of Heather, Ewen, Sonia, Tony, Robbie and Ange. Loved step-mum of Alyce and Ollie. Cherished aunty of Adam, Dylan, Riley, James, Cooper, Maycee and Marnie. Treasured member of the Ransfield whānau. Best friend of Māia, Rusty and Mel. Erica will be deeply missed by her wider family, friends and colleagues. The family want to especially thank the staff of Wellington Free Ambulance, Wellington Fire and City Fitness Thorndon. A special mention goes out to the ICU angels at Wellington Hospital for their respectful and dignified care of Erica. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pet Refuge New Zealand would be appreciated. A celebration of Erica’s life will be held in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore on Friday 29 May, at 11.00am. A private cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate and remember Rodney’s life will be held on 30 May 2026. Linda, Morella & Troy, and Caleb warmly invite you to join them in celebrating and remembering Rodney’s life. Please stay afterwards for afternoon tea as we share stories, memories, and celebrate Rodney together. Linda would greatly appreciate it if you could bring along any photos or written memories on A5 paper to help create a memorial book in Rodney’s honour.
