Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Haines and Jayne, Mayson and Louise, Aidan and Rachel, loved and adored Granny of Zaria, Otis; India, Aija; and Zoe. It is with great sadness that we have lost the most loved and cherished mother, on July 26, 2026, peacefully at Golden View Care, Cromwell; aged 85 years. Born December 15, 1940, in Wellington. Daughter of the late Kathleen and Samuel Burder (Wellington), sister to the late Wendy and late Beverley. Greatly missed by her sister Jenny Snowden. Treasured wife to the late Colin Gordon Smyth. Beloved mother to Kaye and Arnold (Wanaka). Loving Nana to Jolanda and Matt (Wanaka), and Jared and Amanda (Christchurch), Great-Nana to Kobyn, Carter and Nixon (Wanaka), Cleo and Esme (Christchurch).
