Passed away peacefully at Hospice South on Monday, 10 August 2026. Dearly cherished mother and mother-in-law of Daniel and Mel, Rowhin, and “Mumzee” to Matt and Katie. Treasured Nanny of Lacey, Kye, Ocean, Nash and Aurora. Beloved wife of the late Colin, and Ian. Cherished sister of Astrid, and a dearly remembered auntie to all her nieces and nephews. In her 93rd year, Mum passed peacefully on the 9th of August 2026, surrounded by her loving family and in the care of Rowena Jackson. Beloved wife of the late Merv, and previously the late Rex Baker, and much-loved and adored mum of Terry* and Val, Carol, Allan*, Diane, Gary and Lisa, Michael, Raewyn, Paula and Tony, Warren and Jo. Beloved and respected Nana of all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. Loved sister of Kevin and Lindsay Crosland, Brisbane, and the late Maureen, Frank, Pat, Raymond, Vincent and Judith. Mum will be resting at her home at 22 Boyne Street, Invercargill. Service to be held on Friday, the 14th of August, at 1 pm at The Salvation Army, Victoria Avenue, followed by a private family cremation.
