COLEMAN, Ian:
On August 2, 2026, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital with his family by his side; aged 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Anne, much loved Dad of Fergus, Megan, Brigit, and Hunter, much loved Grandad of Freddie, and Laura, a loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many, best mate of his dog Storm. Special thanks to all the staff of Ward 8C, Dunedin Hospital, for their amazing care and kindness to Ian. A celebration of Ian's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 2.00pm on Saturday, August 8, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Granddaughter of the late George Wilson, Daughter of the late Neville Eric Dawson (JP) and Joyce Nichol Wilson. Peacefully at Ross Home, Dunedin on 30 July 2026 aged 92. Loved Daughter of the late Iere and Dudley (Jack) Clarke. Loved sister of the late RIchard and Graham Clarke, and of Enid and brother-in-law Michael Flannery (Wellington). Loved wife of the late Derek Philip Fraser Turnbull (formerly of Sherwood Farm, Tussock Creek, Southland). Loved mother of Jane Turnbull, Philippa Craigie, Stephanie Turnbull, the late Kenneth Turnbull, Fiona Turnbull and Guy Turnbull; and mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother to an extended family across New Zealand and Australia. The family thanks the staff of Ross Home, Dunedin, for caring compassionately for Pat in her last four years. After a private family service, Pat will be buried in St John’s Cemetery, Invercargill. Pat’s active life touched many through her involvement with CWI, harrier & veteran athletics administration, genealogy, farmhosting, and CCS. Please remember Pat with fondness, warmth and love.
